You should pursue engineering because of the great fun that you will experience every day, solving problems at the front line in a quest to make the world a better place. It's not political and you usually don't have to convince anyone to do anything. Just you, your "skills," and a world that needs fixing.

I was a student engineer with AAM for 2 and a half years and now I am a full time salaried associate, I've had a great journey studying and working in the field. Working at AAM helped me improve my problem solving skills which significantly helped my career in school and eventually earning my Diploma. Now that I am an official engineer, it has been joyful to work because most of the theoretical sceneries that were presented to me in college have become a reality. Solving real life problems does satisfy the need of an engineer.

What I love most about being an engineer is putting solutions in place and seeing the positive impact they have on production. It is rewarding to implement engineering solutions that improve our process as well as our profitability. Being an engineer requires you to be an excellent problem solver!

I love being an engineer because is was my childhood dream since I was 8 years old and I get to enjoy every single day doing my work. At AAM I've had the support to accomplish great work improvements. I'm proud of the process improvements my team has done over the last 2 years and seeing them come up with even new ideas every day. Engineering is a very fulfilling profession as it lets you practice creativity, curiosity, and science all at once.

Being an engineer allows me to challenge myself as well as those around me on a daily basis to come up with new and better solutions for our day to day struggles. Being an engineer at AAM specifically is rewarding because you are given the freedom to do everything from help design machines all the through to being able to be involved with skilled trades and work on the machines. My most prideful accomplishment as an engineer is the appreciation I receive from the folks on the floor when we are able to give them solutions to the items they are struggling with day in and day out.  I highly encourage students to pursue a career in engineering as it is something that allows you to be creative and successful in many different branches of life.

I love being able to have the opportunity to seek out inefficiencies in a process or design that otherwise could have been overlooked. I love working with a diverse team, allowing them to share the same drive and mindset to promote efficient yet calculated work decisions. I'm proud of the annual cost savings that I can prove that my work has provided.

I love learning how things work and figuring out how long they last. How can we test what we have made? I love figuring that out. I am most proud of working on the REE 3 in 1 EDU program. It is very challenging, and allows for many opportunities to learn. Students should pursue a career in engineering because it is a career that is ever changing and you will never stop learning. No day will be the same as the last.

As an engineer, I like the fact that every day in this profession is different and opens up new opportunities to explore the world of engineering. Each day brings new problems to be solved, which allows for continuous improvement and keeping an open mind, because each problem is different and specific. I am most proud of SCADA for ePLUS, I created its outline, defined its structure and characteristics and finally put it into production. Initially, this SCADA worked in five different countries to form a coherent whole, then it was adapted to the production line on site. We recently had a customer visit with this amazing car with our product inside, I am really proud to know what work has been put into this project and that we have a part in it. This note above is, in my opinion, a sufficient argument to start studying engineering, when you get up in the morning you don't go to work because you have to, but because you like. What can be summed up with the sentence, if you do what you like, you never go to work :)

The two things I love most about being an engineer at AAM is- first, there are never two days that are the same at the plant and secondly, with continuous improvement always first on my mind, it's ever changing with new things to learn, implement and improve!

I love the fact that my designs at AAM deliver power through Michigan winters to everyone from my daughter's first SUV (with our PTU) to an AMG capable of dominating the Nuernberg Ring.

Being an engineer at AAM gives me the opportunity to create and invent the technology of the future. Working with a diverse and talented group of fellow engineers motivates me to do even better at my job.
Working directly with OEMs on advanced driveline technologies and developing safety critical software at AAM is something I enjoy working on.
Being an engineer gives you the chance to make things happen that you imagine and there is no limit to human imagination.

I'm proud to be an engineer. I love seeing a project rise from a single drawing through planning, specifying equipment, buying components, looking how equipment is built until the finished part is ready to ship to customer. It's hard work but enjoyable. Working in AAM as an Engineer made me a person that is eager to know how the mechanism works. I have met a lot of interesting people from different cultures all around the world. It is also a chance to visit a lot of countries during the work trips. I'm most proud of me and my team bringing the first AAM e-drive (JLR X590) to serial production. AAM is a company that will allow you to grow with it.

AAM is a wealth of engineering knowledge and team comradery. I have enjoyed working with and learning from every group I have been a part of.

The thing I love most about being an engineer is the sense of accomplishment I get when I solve a problem.  It can be a simple problem that takes 15 minutes or it can be complex that takes months to develop, but the feeling is the same when the solution is found.

I like to know how and why things work and see if I can improve that performance, faster, cheaper, better quality.
I am proud to be contributing to making today's vehicles better every day, with more quality control and safer for the end customer.
the love of engineering comes from my family, my father is an engineer, and he always pushed me towards that part of creativity and knowledge and interest in knowing why things work.

Engineers work with smart people to solve interesting problems. It’s really satisfying to figure something out that wasn’t known before.

Being engineer is - adding value to product, being a creator, and being an innovator. There is great satisfaction to being a creator.

What I love most about being an engineer is being able to use my creativity and understanding of mechanics to come up with new and optimized ways to meet customer requirements on AAM products. We have the ability to shape a whole industry with our ideas and implementation, which may have started as a random thought or simple hand sketch!

I love being an engineer because of the creativity of this position. AAM is an environment where engineers can learn about the latest high end manufacturing solutions, which we are later launching to run in serial production while constantly delivering the best quality components. I am the most proud of being ePlus in-house manufacturing components project leader which was successfully launched to production. I highly recommend AAM as a future company for engineering students because AAM is giving you a culture that respects your way of thinking and allows your own approach in all engineering areas.
